About Masic Transport
withContainer trucking built around the Port of Halifax
Masic Transport Inc. is a family-owned trucking company based in the Halifax area of Nova Scotia. Since 2022, we’ve focused on moving shipping containers for freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers, and businesses that depend on the Port of Halifax.
We move import and export containers through the Port of Halifax, from local deliveries to longer runs across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ontario, and Newfoundland and Labrador. We transport dry and refrigerated containers in 20, 40, 45, 48, and 53-foot sizes. We also have limited capacity for container moves through the Port of Saint John, New Brunswick.
We understand what happens between the port and the delivery
A container move takes more than a truck and a chassis. Terminal appointments, container availability, warehouse schedules, and empty return instructions all have to line up. When plans change, customers need to know what’s happening and what comes next.
That’s where we put our attention. Our team works closely with customers and drivers to coordinate each move, communicate delays, and keep shipments moving whenever circumstances allow.
A family name behind every load
We started Masic Transport with one truck and a commitment to doing the work properly without cutting any corners. As the company has grown, we’ve kept the same approach: be straightforward, stay accountable, and treat every load as important to the customer who entrusted it to us.
Whether you need a single container moved across Halifax or regular service for a busy import or export program, you’ll work with a team that knows container trucking and takes your schedule seriously.
